Summary of Duties & Minimum Qualifications:
Grade: 21
This position is responsible for performing various duties associated with the database development, analysis, implementation/deployment, reporting, map production and maintenance of a Geographic Information System (GIS). Applicant must have the ability to work independently or within a team-oriented environment. A working knowledge of GIS concepts, including experience with ArcView, Microsoft Access, SQL, photogrammetry, orthophotography, and mapping is required. Applicant must also have cartographic capabilities and experience with other software, such as AutoCAD, Avenue, Spatial Analyst, 3-D Analyst, ArcInfo, Microsoft SQL server, VB script and Arc Internet Map Server.

Applicants must meet or exceed these qualifications: the formal education equivalent of a bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, or related field; plus two years' experience in computer programming and analysis or a related area. Non-qualified applicants need not apply.
