Job Description
Ø Four to Six plus (4 - 6+) years of technical experience (with 4 Years degree program or higher)
Ø Analysis, Technical and problem-solving skills a must.
Ø Excellent programming skills and hands-on development
Ø Knowledgeable in GIS principles, concepts and techniques including conversions, projections, coordinate systems, orthogrammetry, GPS, etc.
Ø Experience in developing enterprise GIS applications [ESRI’s ArcGIS 9.x (Server, Engine, Desktop,
Ø Experience programming with Microsoft technologies, (ASP.NET, C#.NET/VB.NET)
Ø Working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML
Ø Experience working within a SQL-compliant relational database system (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, postgres)
Ø Experience in geospatial database (geodatabase, oracle) modeling and dataset migration
Ø Ability to work well as a team player
Ø Proven oral and written communication skills
Experience in one or more of the following is desirable:
o Domain knowledge in Electricity/ Water/ Waste water/ Energy utilities
o Other ESRI or non-ESRI GIS products and platforms such as MapGuide, Mapserver, Openlayers
