Job Description

Ø 4+ years of technical experience plus Bachelor-level degree in relevant discipline or equivalent experience
Ø Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills a must - Knowledgeable in GIS principles, concepts and techniques including conversions, projections, coordinate systems, orthogrammetry, GPS, etc.
Ø Previous experience in enterprise GIS application development, analysis, and implementation (in particular, web GIS systems and ArcObjects development)
Ø In-depth, working knowledge of ESRI’s main GIS components, products, and platforms: ArcObjects, ArcGIS 9.x (Server, Engine, Desktop) - Experience programming with Microsoft technologies, (ASP.NET, C#.NET)
Ø Experience working within a SQL-compliant relational database system (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Spatial)
Ø Working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML - Experience in GIS database (geodatabase) modeling and dataset migration
Ø Ability to work well as a team player - Proven oral and written communication skills


Experience in one or more of the following is also desirable:
- Water/wastewater/energy utility industry operations - Other ESRI or non-ESRI GIS products and platforms such as MapGuide - Mobile/wireless application development - IT system administration, esp. all Windows platforms (mobile, desktop, server) - SVG and/or other open standards-based vector formats - Vector and raster imagery generation and manipulation
