Summary / Purpose Gentran Integration Suite (GIS) developer who can review
functional design specifications and create GIS BPML and maps based on the
specifications. Integrate EDI and B2B functions into new and existing
applications, along with documentation of changes and test results. Position
will work closely with SAP functional team and other application developers
to ensure end-to-end scenario delivery and to establish standards and
guidelines for GIS environment (including mapping and Java coding standards)
and conduct Quality Assurance activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Specific Skills and Knowledge
.2 plus years of GIS experience
.Experience developing scenarios using BPML
.Extensive extended rule usage in the GIS mapper
.GIS mapping and business process modeling
.Extensive EDI messaging
.Knowledge of SAP R/3, ALE, iDocs
.RosettaNet standards - a plus


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
.Design and Develop Solution for GIS BPML for SAP R/3 and non SAP systems
.Design & develop complex application development.
.Execute design reviews.
.Perform code reviews.
.Function as technical lead in large scale projects involving multiple
development resources.
.Review functional specs for accuracy & performance implications.
.Understanding of complex interfacing strategies; Strong skills in the
development of B2B and C2C interfaces.

.Understanding of complex table joins and advanced programming concepts.
.Strong understanding of functional processes; ability to interactively
contribute to design and functional capability of applications; work with
functional specialists to ensure solution design and integrity.
.Solid understanding of functional integration points, entity relationships
and module flows.
.Resolve questions of program intent, input data acquisition, time sharing,
output requirements, coding use and modification, and inclusion of internal
checks/code reviews for system integrity.
.Participate in the roll out of developed applications and help ensure the
on time delivery of solution.
.Maintain a working knowledge of advancing technologies. Identify applicable
solutions and implement with existing networks when appropriate.
.Work seamlessly with all IT Teams to ensure high standard of IT support at
all levels.
.Maintain and develop documentation for responsible area. Prepare and
provide status updates of assigned project plans and schedules.
.Maintain positive relations with all employees encouraging them to suggest
ways of improving IT systems. Recommend/conduct training.
.Organize verbal and written ideas clearly, use appropriate business style.
.Identify creative ways to reduce cost by streamlining processes and systems
(i.e. modification of responsibilities or consolidation of tasks,
elimination of non-value added processes, or complete re-engineering of
processes and systems).

Job Requirements MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Computer Science or related discipline AND more than 7 years
experience. When working in SAP, at least 5 years SAP experience. When
working in Microsoft, at least 5 years experience working with Microsoft
development technologies. Knowledge of 3 or more programming languages -
ABAP, .NET, C#, Java, ASP.

The position may include some field GPS data collection. Requires responding to customer requests for GIS data, charts, reports, and cartographic products. Mandatory Qualifications

Must be a U.S. Citizen. BS/BA degree in Geography, Geographical Information Systems (GIS), Geospatial Spatial Science or a related discipline such as Computer Science that includes an emphasis in GIS. Minimum of three years work experience with ESRI ArcGIS products (e.g., ArcInfo, ArcEditor, ArcView, Arc SDE, ArcGIS Server, ArcEngine) or with ESRI ArcGIS and a Masters degree emphasizing GIS. Must have the ability to work under extreme weather conditions, in rough terrain, and for prolonged periods sitting and typing at a computer. Must be able to lift 25 pounds unassisted. Must possess a Valid Driver’s License. Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance within 18 months of hire. Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening.

Desired Qualifications:

Excellent problem solving skills. Experience working with mapping, charting, and geodesy. Experience with GIS geodatabase design and development. Experience with the development of project schedules, prioritized tasks, and the ability to meet schedule requirements. Experience in evaluating GIS database accuracy and precision, and virtual/simulated/three-dimensional environment development and support. Experience in enterprise GIS database support, maintenance, and management. Experience providing technical support for GIS operating systems, applications, emulation, and database software.
