Candidate must have the following skills:

• Strong experience in managing ArcSDE database on Oracle in AIX Environment including; managing databases with subtypes, domains, topologies, replication and geometric networks.
• Integration experience with external/Non-GIS application (like Maximo/CAD/Outage Management) Good knowledge of ESRI Web technologies like ArcGIS Server and ArcGIS Engine.
• Strong communication skills.

Job Description/Skills Required:
Minimum Required Experience and Skill Set:
6+ years of experience in designing, developing, implementing enterprise
6+ GIS. At least 2 years in Electric Utility
3+ years of experience developing/supporting ESRI*s ArcGIS Desktop and Telvent Miner & Miner*s ArcFM.
Additional experience in any of the following is preferred:
Development experience in .Net preferably C# Knowledge of deploying and managing ESRI products on Citrix.
Unix Development / Support skills.
Support experience with Autodesk products, esp. integration with GIS

Position Description:

Our growing organization - which includes offices in Michigan, Wyoming, Utah, Arkansas, and Pennsylvania - is seeking a full time GIS Specialist for our Canonsburg, PA office.

GIS Specialist job duties (include but are not limited to): incorporate GIS data from variety of sources with ability to convert data between various file types; maintain data layers: leasehold, pipeline, wells, parcels, etc. for several projects covering many states; produce maps for internal and client use so that intelligent decisions can be made; analyze datasets to provide answers for internal use.

Requirements:

• BS/BA degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field;

• Minimum of 1 year experience working with ESRI ArcGIS software

• Strong understanding of cartographic principles, projections, data management, digital map production, hard copy presentations, and quality assurance/quality control;

• Knowledge of ESRI Geodatabase design structure and management, as well as general database knowledge, including the manipulation of tabular data in GIS, and summarizing, joining, and linking related data;

• Experience working with land records maintenance including land surveys, coordinate geometry (COGO) and reading legal descriptions;

• Strong communication skills and attention to detail;

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with co-workers and clients;

iXSurvey Ltd require an experienced and self motivated individual to work in both a field and office based role as chief surveyor of an expanding department. Responsibilities will include: survey planning and preparation; vessel mobilizations and data acquisition; processing and reporting; and, development of both systems and personnel.

The ideal candidate will be fully conversant with all aspects of QINSy, and will be confident with CARIS and AutoCAD or ESRI ArcGIS. The successful candidate would be willing to relocate to Edinburgh within 6 months.
