Position Description:
GIS AnalystThis position will be located in our Cary, NC office as part of the Water Resources Department. A BS degree in GIS, Geography, Environmental Science, Computer Science, or related field is Required.
The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years experience in geodatabase development and management, terrain data development, base map development, FEMA floodplain mapping, and GIS data model design. Candidate must be proficient with the ESRI ArcGIS suite of applications, extensions, and database management. Familiarity with Hec-RAS, Auto-CAD, SQL Server, Python, Visual Basic, Model Builder, and ArcGIS Server is a plus. Candidates must have the ability to work in a fast-paced, production driven environment with the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
