Job Description
Work at a government facility in Orlando creating and maintaining databases for use in simulators. The bulk of the task is aligning vector data to imagery and vector attribution using Arc tools. There is a high probability that raster image processing work will also be required. This is an entry level position ideal for a new GIS graduate.
Job Requirements
US or US naturalized citizen - must be able to obtain a US government security clearance.

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. Entry level.

Strong background in ESRI ArcGIS suite of tools with an emphasis on vector dataset editing and how to create and/or manipulate vector data geometry and attribution in an enterprise GIS environment using ArcSDE.
Strong written and oral communication skills are essential.
Strong imagery interpretation skills using different formats and resolutions are a must.
Familiarity with quality assurance and quality control methodologies within GIS industry.
Must be a self-starter with a strong attention to detail and experience working in and adapting to a dynamic team environment.

Intermittent overtime and shift work may be required
